Fostering the Next Generation of Storytellers: Childnet, Disney and MPA Host the 3rd Edition of “Our Future Storytellers” Event

We are delighted to announce the 3rd edition of “Our Future Storytellers” event, hosted in collaboration with Childnet and Disney. During the event two panels will take place, where industry experts and students will share opportunities on how young people can kickstart their careers in the creative sector. The event will be hosted onsite at the London Disney Office and online.

The first panel debate will be moderated by Will Gardner, CEO of Childnet International, and will feature young panelists Jude Rogers, Childnet Film Competition 2016 Winner and Animation Student at Edinburgh University, and 2 students from St Matthew’s Academy, finalists of the 2023 Childnet Film Competition.

In the second panel, moderated by MPA EMEA President and Managing Director Stan McCoy, industry experts, Seetha Kumar, CEO of ScreenSkills, and Jim Filippatos, Vice President of Global Public Policy at The Walt Disney Company, will engage in a dynamic discussion together with the student Jude Rogers.
